Angelo Accardi was born in 1964 in Sapri, in the province of Salerno. After a brief stint at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples in the early nineties he opened a studio in Sapri and began a research on social figuration. His artistic aim is the constant search for hidden human feelings yet to be discovered. Magical urban and interior compositions, elaborated in a sophisticated system of painting and vision, touch and surprise the viewer. The artist has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and around the world. He has exhibited in the most prestigious Italian and European galleries, and in 2011 his “Misplaced” collection was exhibited at Padiglione Italia at the 54th edition of the Biennale di Venezia. Since 2012 he has participated in the most important Contemporary Art Fairs around the world.
